First, during one day (as a warning), then one week, then one month, then four months, etc. until he/she finally understands.

How to determine if someone is smurfing?
I can understand you dont want to wait if you got rekt during the game (so there is nothing to do for you) until the last player who walled his last vills in is defeated. And in the npl you can lose 20 team games in a row despite being good. And when you play a 1vs1 you can easily beat someone rated much higher

i'm sick of smurfs, but not all the smurfs, those who intentionally to destroy beginners/players with lower level than them and surrender once the match is over.

We should build a wall and keep smurfs away, make voobly great again folks!

ban the nasty ones, keep the creative ones

lol .. there is king of players .. only play with good civs . and when they get civ they dont know how to play with .. they close Voobly .. after that they say it's crush

If you only play people who have played 15~ games last week and about 40-60% win percentage you will be playing the people you searching for. People cus of reasons you might not understand, but banning them doesnt solve your problem.

Smurfing is part of the evolution of the game, most of the top players have several accounts, for higher levels is a must to have atleast 2 or 3 nicks to catch few games, to warm up, to play with less skilled friends, to test new strategies even to chill out.

The guy who created the topic clearly has no intention to get better because when you are climbing the ladder facing smurfs is the only way to push ur limits.

Newbie players have NPL in order to prevent noob bashing, if you are grown enough to be playing in medieval siege you can only choose who you play with, buy a premium or simply improve ur skills, there are many options for you to prevent to get rektd by smurfs, asking for banning them is too selfish and biased to even consider it.

Why just don't play unrated games instead of using account?

Not i think that not banned but i guess will be a good idea do more difficulty can create new accounts so anyways always will exist

Simple solution is display AKA rate, but need to pay to get that in MS!
