I don't know what changed, I didn't do anything different to what I did before. But it worked this time.

It so happens I am having the exact same problem as Suikenia with regards to music.m3u is not in its proper place.

The thread ended with Suikenia saying: "I didn't do anything different to what I did before. But it worked this time". Well, sadly, it's still not working for me, and I've followed the KB1054 Clean installation of Aoe2HD with compatibility patch to the letter several times.

Hope someone can help me with this!

So is the compatibility patch supposed to copy this Sound\music.m3u file from the installer to the folder? Because it doesn't! I do not have the Sound folder.

And I already checked - I don't have an extra folder in my installation (I have C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD)

what worked for me was to create that folder and that file from a .txt
