Hello,

I've been struggling to set up the proper connection through port forwarding and so on. I've used some page to get "free VPN" started, and it seems to be working, but i feel like it makes me lag a lot more.

So i've followed all the steps given here http://www.voobly.com/pages/view/134
and also have my static IP as well as forward port set up (at least i think that so, i've been patiently following the clear steps)
but i never got out of that "symetric NAT poor" connection on voobly, which leads to plenty of FastProxies;

i've done some screenshots of the set-up informations, hopefully someone knows what am i doing wrong/what could be the issue.

that's pretty much every place i got to/changed anything.

hi
is this the router?: [You must login to view link]
forwarding looks ok but you do not need 2400. make sure UPnP is turned off. apply/save every time you alter a router page.
show a pic of the gateway page. there is no need to obscure ip's. every site you go on knows them.

scroll down and read here: [You must login to view link]
it may explain the problem.

Oh sorry, i missed the Router model.
it's Thomson TWG 870, and it's not listed on the page you mentioned.
Also the 770 looks pretty simmilar, even router site GUI fits it, but i've followed steps listed on 770 model.
Also i cant really find/it's not there - the UPnP in the router configurations

I've done what you asked for and the result is negative.
so it's not forwarded, even tho it should be..

hi
ok
you need to check pc firewalls etc to see if its blocked. show a picture of the main set up page of the router and wan page. do not obscure the ip's.
i assume you are playing from home?

...i guess you are asking for this?
[You must login to view link]
im afraid i dont really know where can i find the WAN set up;
yes im playing from home with my wire connection.
when i disable whole firewall for local connection the output of port forward checking is still negative.

hi
thanks
im looking for the page that shows ip connections. [not p/forward or dhcp] im trying to see if you have a direct internet connection or from your isp internal servers.
you might see your 192.168...... ip change to a 10.0....... or similar.

I've found that:
[You must login to view link]
but i guess that's the "not forward/dhcp" bracket you mentioned..

and there is that.. [You must login to view link]
Other than those, i dont see any other pages giving the information you mentioned. At least not on the 186.168.0.1 router page.

If i can get that information giving my ISP the call, then sure, but what should i ask him for then?

Really thanks for the support man!

hi
thanks
thats not what i was looking for. not to worry. probably not what i was thinking as its a cable modem. perhaps talk to the ISP tech people and explain your problem.
