Hello,

First of all thanks to ADM_ for trying to help me with this issue.

What happens is: when iam ingame lobby or just ingame either launching through voobly or single player whenever i open the chat box with "Enter" key i cant see the text that i type unless i keep typing and the text blinks. If i press enter it still sends the message i typed eventho i see all dark.

For example: if i spam zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz i only see the icon | at the end of the last z, while i dont see the z's at all. If i press enter it does send the zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Other thing i notice is that the | symbol flashes at a weird fast rate.

What operating system are you running?

Make sure that Age of Empires II and Voobly is installed in the x86 directory.

Original version:

Did you update your drivers like we discussed?

Yo!

Do this: First close (exit) your Voobly client and all other background working apps. Next, open your web browser and [You must login to view link] - DirectX Runtime Web Installer and execute the setup file as administrator and wait for all the required dependency packages to download and install..., after reboot your computer.
Secondly, Download this offline userpatch 1.4 file and, extract that into your game directory folder (by default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II) next, run the SetupAoC.exe as administrator and [You must login to view link] to be installed and lastly make sure to press and hold Ctrl+Alt key on your keyboard and click [Install].

Hope this helps and this will also fix your offline game issue as well.
